FUQUAY-VARINA, North Carolina (July 30, 2021) – Fidelity Bank is pleased to announce Rodney Clapp has joined its team in Durham as Business Development Officer. In his new position, Mr. Clapp is responsible for developing and managing business banking relationships within the community, as well as, contributing to the sales efforts of the Fidelity Bank Durham branch located at 3016 Shannon Road.
Rodney has twenty-five years of financial experience in the Triangle. Prior to joining Fidelity Bank, he worked for Fifth Third Bank as a Financial Center Manager. He also held commercial and business banking positions at Wells Fargo and SunTrust. In addition to his financial background, Rodney is active in the community. He is an active member of both the Durham and Hillsborough/Orange County Chambers of Commerce.
Mr. Clapp graduated from Elon University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He currently resides in Durham and has two children.
