FUQUAY-VARINA, North Carolina (May 10, 2022) – Fidelity Bank is pleased to announce Mike Goddard has joined its Government Guaranteed Lending team as Vice President and Business Development Officer. In his new position, Mr. Goddard is responsible for developing new business relationships and for helping entrepreneurs finance business acquisitions, buyouts, startups, and expansions.
Mike brings almost twenty years of financial experience to the Bank. Prior to joining Fidelity Bank, he worked for United Community Bank as an SBA Business Development Officer. He also held various business banking positions with West Town Bank & Trust, NC Farm Bureau, Yadkin Bank, and SunTrust. In addition to his financial background, Mike has been active in the community. He volunteered for Habitat for Humanity and the Hillsborough Kiwanis Club, where he was their President.
Mr. Goddard graduated from Elon University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and a minor in accounting. He currently resides in Raleigh, North Carolina, with his wife, Jennifer.
