FUQUAY-VARINA, North Carolina (September 13, 2022) – Fidelity Bank is pleased to announce John Sweeney has joined its team in Raleigh as Vice President and Business Development Officer. In his new position, Mr. Sweeney is responsible for developing and managing business banking relationships within the community as well as contributing to the sales efforts of the Fidelity Bank Falls of the Neuse branch located at 5220 Falls of Neuse Road.
John has eighteen years of financial experience. Prior to joining Fidelity Bank, he worked in business banking for multiple community and nationwide banks. In addition to his financial background, John is active in the community. He is an active member of the Brown Bag Ministry, volunteers for the Wake Forest High School Athletic Booster Club, and is also a Youth Soccer Coach.
Mr. Sweeney attended West Virginia University John Chambers School of Business and Economics with a concentration in Finance. He currently resides in Wake Forest with his wife, Melanie, and has two children.
