Fidelity Bank is pleased to announce James Williams has joined its team in Greensboro as Vice President and Branch Manager. In his new position, Mr. Williams is responsible for business development and for providing outstanding service to bank customers of the Fidelity Bank branch located at 2501 Battleground Avenue.

James has over forty years of financial experience. Prior to joining Fidelity Bank, he worked for Truist Bank as a Vice President and Branch Leader. He also held positions with CommunityOne Bank, Piedmont Bank, First Charter National Bank, Central Carolina Bank, and NCNB/Bank of America. James is also active in the community as a volunteer teacher of the Family Budgeting and Becoming a Homeowner session through the Women’s Resource Center of Greensboro. He was also a leader of Statesville Advisory Board from 2009 and 2010 and is the founder of Cub Scout Pack 180 and Boy Scout Troop 180.

Mr. Williams graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a Bachelor of Arts in History with a minor in Economics and Education. He is also a member of the North Carolina Bankers Association. He currently resides in Wallburg with his wife, Marsha, and has two children and one grandchild.
