Fidelity Bank is pleased to announce Gary Griffin has joined its team in Tybee Island, Georgia, as Vice President and Government Guaranteed Lending Business Development Officer. In his new position, Mr. Griffin is responsible for developing and managing business banking relationships within the community as well as contributing to the sales efforts of Fidelity Bank. His primary focus will be on expanding Fidelity Bank’s Small Business Administration lending program, as well as specializing in business acquisitions and commercial real estate financing.
Gary has over 45 years of financial experience. Prior to joining Fidelity Bank, he worked for Dogwood State Bank as an SBA Business Lending Specialist. He also held SBA National Sales Manager and Business Development Officer positions at Patriot Bank, West Town Bank and Trust, and T Bank. In addition to his extensive financial background, Gary is active in the community as a member of St. Michael Catholic Church.
Mr. Griffin graduated from the University of Denver with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Finance. He also has a post-graduate degree in Accounting from Georgia State University. He currently resides in Tybee Island, Georgia, with his wife, Sue, and has two children.
