Fidelity Bank is pleased to announce Shirley Polanco has joined its team in Raleigh, North Carolina, as Vice President and Government Guaranteed Lending Business Development Officer. In her new position, Mrs. Polanco is responsible for developing and managing business banking relationships within the community as well as contributing to the sales efforts of Fidelity Bank. Her primary focus will be on expanding Fidelity Bank’s Small Business Administration lending program, as well as specializing in business acquisitions and commercial real estate financing.
Shirley has over five years of SBA lending experience. Prior to joining Fidelity Bank, she worked for Dogwood State Bank as an SBA Business Lending Specialist. She also held SBA Business Development Officer and SBA Relationship Manager positions at Patriot Bank and Diamond Financial Services.
Mrs. Polanco graduated from Ashford University with a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Finance. She currently resides in Raleigh with her husband, Jhoangel Polanco, and has two children.
