Fidelity Bank is pleased to announce Michael Byers has joined its team as Senior Vice President and Director of Guaranteed Government Lending Sales. In his new position, Mr. Byers is responsible for all loan development activities related to Government Guaranteed lending originations across the Bank’s national government guaranteed lending footprint, as well as leading a team of Business Development Officers throughout the country. His office is located at 8374 Six Forks Road, Suite 201 in Raleigh, NC.
Michael has sixteen years of financial experience. Prior to joining Fidelity Bank, he worked for First National Bank Small Business Finance as a Vice President and Business Development Officer. He also held banking and financial positions at Piedmont Venture Capital, Wharton Gladden & Company, Landon Ellis Partners, and MSC Properties. In addition to his financial background, Michael is Board Vice President of Central Wake High School, Board Member for the Association of Corporate Growth, and he is also a board member of Junior Achievement of Eastern North Carolina.

Mr. Byers graduated from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. He currently resides in Raleigh, NC with his wife and two children.
