Fidelity Bank is pleased to announce Brian MacDonnell has joined its team in Charlotte, North Carolina, as Vice President and Government Guaranteed Lending Business Development Officer. In his new position, Mr. MacDonnell is responsible for developing and managing business banking relationships within the community as well as contributing to the sales efforts of Fidelity Bank. He will primarily be focusing on expanding Fidelity Bank’s Small Business Administration lending program, as well as specializing in business acquisitions and commercial real estate financing.
Brian has fourteen years of financial experience. Prior to joining Fidelity Bank, he worked for PNC Bank as an SBA Business Development Officer. He also held Business Banker and Financial Sales Consultant positions at PNC Bank and Capital One Bank. In addition to his financial background, Brian is active in the community as a member of the St. Matthew Catholic Church.
Mr. MacDonnell attended the University of Virginia, Wise, where he received a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He currently resides in Matthews with his wife, Ashely MacDonnell, and has two children.
