FUQUAY-VARINA, North Carolina (August 13, 2021) – Fidelity Bank is pleased to announce John Kolessar has joined its team in Stokesdale as Senior Vice President and Business Development Officer. In his new position, Mr. Kolessar is responsible for developing and managing business banking relationships within the community, as well as, contributing to the sales efforts of the Fidelity Bank Stokesdale branch located at 8110 U.S. 158.
John has twenty-five years of financial experience in Rockingham County. Prior to joining Fidelity Bank, he worked for BB&T as a Market Leader. He also held commercial and business banking positions at NewBridge Bank and Wachovia. In addition to his financial background, John is active in the community. He currently is a member of the Annie Penn Hospital Advisory Board, serves as Investment Chair and Trustee for Main Street United Methodist Church and the Corporate Sponsorship Chair for the Reidsville Rotary Club. John was also a member of the Rockingham Community College Foundation Board as well as other civic organizations throughout Rockingham County.
Mr. Kolessar graduated from Appalachian State University with a Bachelor in Science in Business Administration. He currently resides in Summerfield with his wife, Sherri, and has two children.
