FUQUAY-VARINA, North Carolina (December 14th, 2017) – Fidelity Bank is pleased to announce Jeff Wetmore has joined its team in Salisbury as Senior Vice President and Market Executive. In his new position, Mr. Wetmore will be responsible for developing and managing commercial banking relationships in Rowan County as well as overseeing the sales efforts of the Salisbury branch located at 2085 Statesville Boulevard.
Jeff has 16 years of banking experience in the Rowan County market. Prior to joining Fidelity Bank, he worked for First Bank as Vice President and City Executive. In addition to his financial background, Jeff is very active in the community. Over the last 15 years he has served in various roles, including Board President, for Habitat for Humanity of Rowan County. Since 2013, he has been an active member and board member of Waterworks Visual Arts Center. He also served on the Audit and Allocations Committee for United Way and is a current member of the Salisbury Rotary Club.
Wetmore received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. He currently resides in Salisbury with his wife, Betsy, and their two children, Lauren and Nathan.
